As the former Talisman Hotel, the newly branded Travel Lodge Ottawa Hotel was scheduled for renovations to its pool & amenity space in conjunction with an overall staged renovation to the overall hotel. The former open outdoor courtyard & pool was scheduled for a complete transformation into a indoor waterpark development.
Amusement Leisure was engaged to provide water park master planning services to the development, &working with BKDI Architects of Calgary, Amusement Leisure prepared the detailed drawings for the implementation of the park. The project proved too highly complex in dealing with the existing and new construction, environmental issues and a high water table.
